Convergent U-Healthcare Services Provider

Insung information (www.insunginfo.co.kr), IT solutions and u-healthcare services provider, announced today that the company reached an agreement with PH Dream to establish a joint firm, C&I HealthCare.
PH Dream is a venture company affiliated with the Catholic University School of Medicine, established in 2000 by Dr. Geon-Ho Yoon and his Bio Sugar research team. Dr. Yoon’s team developed a remote glucose monitoring system and successfully completed a 5-year clinical trial with diabetes patients. Insung Information agreed to supply technology and capital for C&I HealthCare, which will be established based on a next-generation ubiquitous healthcare service model. Insung Information and PH Dream will each hold 40% of the C&I HealthCare shares.
The partnership will enable PH Dream to expedite the entry into the next generation market of u-healthcare. Insung Information will bring in the company’s expertise and experience as the industry leader, with core technology of network and communications solutions.
At the same time, Insung Information will benefit from this partnership in establishing an integrated service model in u-healthcare that includes a major healthcare provider.
Establishment of C&I HealthCare will help perfect Insung Information’s u-Healthcare service system, which integrates medical devices, healthcare content, and healthcare services.
C&I HealthCare will focus on development and clinical experiment of new medical technologies based on u-Healthcare service model. The company will provide clinically-proven u-Healthcare solutions to healthcare providers (hospitals and clinics) and contribute to the growth of ubiquitous healthcare services industry.
Establishment of the joint firm is especially meaningful in that it will enable new, complete ubiquitous healthcare services resulting from the marriage of PH Dream’s expertise and resources in medicine and Insung Information’s advanced u-healthcare solutions.
